Newbridge Church - Children's Ministry Director
The Newbridge Church Children’s Ministry Director’s (CMD) primary responsibilities are to recruit, train, care for and empower teen and adult aged volunteers who in turn will care for and lead children, from birth through 5th grade, to be able to have a relationship with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to know God and the Holy Spirit. The CMD will strive do so with a mindset of excellence. The CMD will utilize resources to provide world class programming that impacts children and their families week to week and ultimately, for eternity. The CMD will be responsible to build systems within the ministry that are reproducible across campuses, with a mindset of growth and always improving.
Ongoing responsibilities include, but are not limited to: team building through various means, coordinating all preparation for weekend services, management of budget and annual ministry calendar, leadership at children’s and family outreach events, Newbridge systems building, etc.
The CMD must be a team player and a team builder with a vision to reach every child in our community and in every community God sends us too. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
The CMD must be someone whose first priority is to live life in a healthy, growing relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by lifestyle. This person will exhibit integrity, a commitment to a no-drama lifestyle, healthy relationships, the ability to navigate conflict in a biblical way, humble leadership, a good sense of humor, the desire to be an ongoing learner, an even-keeled disposition under stress, and a get-it-done-whatever-it-takes work ethic.
